Young People ImageThe Habitation and Children's Zones look after the youth in Jubilee Church. Our vision is to provide young people with spiritual mothers and fathers who will walk with them through every area of life. We don't see the youth and children's work as a ministry, but as growing children of God to walk in their Kingdom purpose. We have a dedicated team of leaders who give their lives to love, equip, train and reflect the heart of God to the next generation.

Our team:

Jen Rawlinson leads the children, with Emily Buckley heading up the teens.

24Seven: Andrea

Cocoon: Corrine

Girl's Tribe: Faith and Lowri

Boy's Tribe: Johnny B and Avril

Kid's Club

This is for children aged between four and eight-years-old. They meet every Friday evening during school term times and also regularly go on excursions.

24Seven

24Seven is a group of nine to 12-year-olds who meet weekly to have fun together, learn about Christian principles and build friendships. Every week the programme is packed full of activities and the young people are encouraged to be themselves and have fun.

Cocoon

Cocoon is for 12 to 14-year-olds who are getting settled into secondary school life and is aimed at equipping them through their adolescent years. They have the opportunity to be part of a mentoring scheme and meet weekly for fun, friendship and to learn more about how to life skilfully.

Girl's Tribe

The Girl's Tribe is for girls aged between 15 and 18-years-old who explore life together, can be part of a mentoring scheme and meet to learn more about their faith.

Boy's Tribe

This is for boys aged between 15 and 18-years-old who meet to build solid friendships and share with leaders who spend time with them, helping them through their teenage years.

Kid's Club meets every Friday during term time at the Jubilee Community Centre, George Street, 5.30pm to 7.00pm.

24/7, Cocoon and the Tribes all meet every Friday from 7.30pm to 9.30pm during term time at various venues. Please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or call the office on 01622 673754 for more info.

There's also Kid's Church for the three to eight-year-olds on Sunday mornings at the Jubilee Community Centre.

Girl's Mentoring

The idea behind girl's mentoring is to give girls of secondary school age (Cocoon and Girl's Tribe) a 'big sister' in Jubilee. Mentors are a step ahead, someone to listen, ask questions and ultimately to direct the girls towards Jesus.

Masada Summer Camp

For one week every summer young people from all over the UK descend upon the Kent countryside for a week of teaching, fun and general craziness. The leaders are united by their vision to see young people living life to the full. Open to anyone aged between 13 and 18, Masada is high-energy, high-impact and highly noisy, so be prepared! www.masada.org.uk

Habitation UK is a charity that works with young people in Kent. Through clubs, workshops, leadership training courses, community projects, summer camps and work in local schools we aim to help young people live life skilfully.

Habitation UK works with young people of all beliefs and values and is affiliated with Jubilee Church. We aim to impart Christian values to young people while not discriminating in any way, striving to embrace all people of all beliefs and show them unconditional love and acceptance. We work in partnership with many schools, charities and volunteer groups.

Katrina (16): "The girl's tribe is a tight group of people that I can trust with anything.  I could tell them anything and they always have good advice."

Ben (11): "24/7 is mostly playing games and learning. Our leaders help us because they explain things and help us to understand."
