As a school we had the incredible privilege of yet again seeing the ‘Life of Christ’ outdoor production... ...down in Guildford. At least 2,000 people attend the show daily over a period of a week. It is an incredible experience where you follow the book of Luke as though you are the crowds watching and listening to Jesus. All this is performed in beautiful grounds alongside a lake and rolling greens. From the birth of Jesus right up to His death and resurrection we were held captive every moment. And right at the end, as we looked up toward the three crosses and watched as Jesus was crucified, we couldn’t help but crying as we once again realised the enormity of what He did for us so many years ago. The reality that He loves us so much that He died for us just blows us away time and time again. Sadly the production won’t be running next year but there are a few other ones they produce so watch this space! Shae Williams, School of the Word |
