Jubilee Church moved into the Jubilee Auditorium, on the corner of George Street and Upper Stone Street, in July 2009.
The venue was rapidly transformed in just three days with paint, a stage, electronics and sound equipment set up for our Sunday celebration. The building is a really exciting new addition which gives us more space and a fantastic coffee shop we've proudly called the All Nations Coffee Bar. Leather lounge seats, cushions and candles make this area a great place to relax and catch up with people after Sunday celebrations and socials. The youth now have their own very vibrant and colourful space decked out with pool tables and comfy seats, and mums have moved from very small quarters in our previous building to having three rooms to choose from! One is dedicated for play, one for feeding and one is used as sleeping quarters. A TV linked to the morning's meeting has also been set up so the mums don't miss out on what's going on. The building is used for a variety of activities, including church celebrations, Habitation youth group, worship practice and much more. Sunday morning celebrations start at 10am and the evening celebration, Collision, begins at 6pm. The auditorium really is a blessing from God and we hope the additional space will be filled with more people soon!
