Jubilee Church has a variety of facilities on offer. These range from the auditorium where we meet for our Sunday celebrations to residential properties providing accommodation for those studying at our training centres or people part of the Jubilee family.
Jubilee Auditorium
Jubilee Church moved into the Jubilee Auditorium, on the corner of George Street and Upper Stone Street, in July 2009.
The venue was rapidly transformed in just three days with paint, a stage, electronics and sound equipment set up for our Sunday celebration. The building is a really exciting new addition which gives us more space and a fantastic coffee shop we've proudly called the All Nations Coffee Bar. Leather lounge seats, cushions and candles make this area a great place to relax and catch up with people after Sunday celebrations and socials. The youth now have their own very vibrant and colourful space decked out with pool tables and comfy seats, and mums have moved from very small quarters in our previous building to having three rooms to choose from! One is dedicated for play, one for feeding and one is used as sleeping quarters. A TV linked to the morning's meeting has also been set up so the mums don't miss out on what's going on.
The building is used for a variety of activities, including church celebrations, Habitation youth group, worship practice and much more. Sunday morning celebrations start at 10am and the evening celebration, Collision, begins at 6pm.
The auditorium really is a blessing from God and we hope the additional space will be filled with more people soon!
Jubilee Community Centre
Jubilee Community Centre can be found on George Street, directly opposite the Jubilee Auditorium. The centre is now used to host children's church, giving the kids a large area to run around in and go wild. It is also used for cell and zone gatherings as well as hosting lectures for the each of the four training schools Jubilee runs.
Jubilee Resource Hub
Jubilee Resource Hub is a very exciting resource which is a registered charity and aims to contribute significantly to Maidstone and Kent. As indicated by its name, it is the central administration point for everything Jubilee offers. The Ashford Road site houses offices for the leadership team, the Habitation youth team, leaders of the four training schools, and more. It also boasts a conference room, kitchen, lounge and an underground chill-out area for the teenagers. Pop in for coffee and see everyone busy at work!
Jubilee Business Centre
Jubilee Business Centre is the newest addition to the facilities owned by Jubilee and can be found on Ashford Road, next door to the Jubilee Resource Centre. It was bought in 2008 and many weeks of hard work were ploughed into fitting it out ready for its grand opening in July of that year. The centre provides office space for small and larger businesses and works as an incubator for small businesses which are in the process of being set-up. The aim is for skills offered by each of the businesses to be bought by one another, as well as the more established businesses giving advice to newer companies.
Jubilee Training Centre (JTC)
The primary Jubilee Training Centre property is ‘the big Tudor house’ which sits on the junction of Ashford Road and Willington Street in Bearsted. The main house is equipped with en-suite accommodation for its full-time students and staff and living areas. There is plenty of parking on-site. For more information about the training centre visit www.jubileetc.org.uk
Number 2 Ashford Road also provides en-suite accommodation for the students embarking on the Year of Training course.
1B and 1C Willington Street again provide accommodation for the training centre students as well as people in Jubilee Church.
The Saturation School of Missions house provides accommodation for its students and can be found in Chapman Avenue.
The Cable Crib was built to house an entertainment and chill-out room for the training centre students and can be found at the back of Number 2 Ashford Road. Named after the overseers of the training centres, it is equipped with an entertainment system with includes a 42-inch flat screen television.
The JTC is a charity in its own right.
Jubilee Recording Studio
Jubilee Recording Studio is onsite at the Jubilee Training Centre, and within easy reach for the Creative Arts Academy students. It is a purpose-built recording studio with practice rooms which was built in 2006 for the launch of the academy. Designed to bolster the course, we have seen many creative ideas, backing tracks for performances and weddings, and even the academy’s first CD, Created To Be, recorded here. The studio is also used to train and develop the skills of students and worship team members alike.
